I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN where I earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theatre & Vocal Performance. In addition, I hold an Advanced Degree in Musical Theatre from the renown American Musical And Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and an Acting Certificate from William Esper Studios (Sanford Meisner Technique); both in New York City. I'm affiliated with AEA (Actor's Equity Association) SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). I trained with the likes of Bruce Kolb (Broadway and TV Vocal Coach), Barry Shapiro (TV and Commercial Casting Director) and Kimberly Vaughn Studio (Broadway Producer and Audition and Performance Stage and Television Coach). I have over 20 years of professional stage and screen experience.
My Broadway debut was Christine in “Phantom of the Opera” at the Majestic Theatre, NYC. From there I traveled across the country in several Broadway National Tours including roles as: Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”, Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, and Maria in “West Side Story”. Some of my favorite Regional Theatre credits include: Rapunzel in “Into the Woods”, Hope in “Anything Goes” and Christine in Yeston/Koppit’s “Phantom the Musical”.
In addition, I contracted with Princess Cruises to headline as Lead Female Entertainer in over 20 International Ports. I have also enjoyed television roles on shows such as, “Seinfeld”, “Guiding Light”, “Third Watch” and CNN Airport News. I was hired as on-air talent for CBS/WTKR in the Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach/Norfolk) area. There I anchored the morning news, along with reporting Traffic. I also had my own news segment called, "What's Hot", as the station's Entertainment Host, reporting on the newest trends, hottest restaurants, hotels, coffee bars, nightclubs and concerts in Hampton Roads. I've had several minor roles and extra work in many Feature Films.
I have performed several spokes-modeling roles such as: Entrance Barbie for Mattel at the NYC Toy-fair, and for Corvette for the NYC International Car Show, both at Jacob Javits Convention Center, I have an extensive background in the Print and Modeling Industry. I've done print ads and commercials for Herbal Essence, Revlon, Bath & Body Works, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Field and Stream Magazine, and Gerber just to name a few.
Upon moving to West Palm Beach, I first hired on at The Kings Academy as Theater and Acting Coach in their prestigious Fine Arts Department. Since then, I've established myself as a leading provider of voice and acting lessons, performance coaching, and audition preparation. I've prepared many of my students for entry into BAK, Dryfoos, Julliard, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, AMDA, UCLA, Northwestern University, Boston Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, FSU, University of Florida, Michigan, and Ithaca College.
In 2018, the Village of Wellington honored Winters Vocal Studios with "The Best Of Wellington" award for Music Instructor. In 2019 and 2020, both Palm Beach County and West Palm Beach respectively, honored Winters Vocal Studios with "The Best of" Music and Vocal Instructor award.
